Early Morn African Violet Group Inc. is an Australian hobby group consisting of growers dedicated to the culture of African violets and other Gesneriads. We meet twice a month in Mount Waverley, a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.

Wednesday Meeting
FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month except January at Alvie Hall – Cnr Alvie and High Street Roads, Mt Waverley (Melway ref no 61 D11). Admission is $3. Doors open at 9:45am; meeting commences at 10am and concludes at 12pm. Saturday Meetings
SECOND SATURDAY of each month except January at Ashwood Hall – 21A Electra Avenue Ashwood 3147 Admission is $3. Doors open at 11:45 am; meeting commences at 12pm and concludes at 4pm. Our meetings have a friendly vibe and we encourage you to ask any questions that you have regarding African violet and Gesneriad culture. We cover a range of topics that are designed to help you learn how to grow and propagate your African violets and other Gesneriads. Members of our club can purchase supplies at most of the meetings except the Christmas party in December. Depending on availability, there will also be members’ plants available for purchase. Visitors are welcome to attend up to 3 meetings without becoming a member and we hope you like us enough to join our club!
